Digital art is still real art. +updated+I've updated this with comments from YouTube on a certain girl's art.
I know that girl is too young to be on YouTube, but the comments are just...
gross.
It puts me in a really bad mood when people say digital art isn't 'real art.' I'm just really pissed for the rest of the day. (At their stupidity? Probably.)
The other day, I was reading some comments on a person's page. One of them went,
"You didn't deserve to get first place in the contest because you did your work digitally. All the other entries were hand-drawn traditionally, and you did't even use your hands to draw your entry."
That's really upsetting. Seriously? When people say things like, "Digital art shows what THE COMPUTER can do, not what you can do." it just... makes me think the person saying that doesn't know much, is terribly biased, or immature.
So how is digital art not real art? I get where people are coming from, but seriously.

Personally, I think they really grasp the typical Kpop style here, and she might blend in, in terms of kpop. Whether or not it will be come mainstream is not certain, but i'm sure a ton of Korean Vocaloid fans, and other subculture fans are probably excited for her debut.

NOTE: Fanarts of This vocaloid character will be allowed because in a way it is related to Kpop. THAT DOESNT MEAN VOCALOID IN GENERAL IS ALLOWED. Remember this is a Kpop community not a Vocaloid comm. Feel free to question the restrictions and exceptions in this rule. Though its self explanatory. So long as this character is included or somehow relates to Kpop then it should be okay.
