Deviation Actions
UPDATE: We will no longer be accepting fanfictions that use stolen art as the cover. Only deviations that are submitted after this post will be under this rule.
NOTE: This reporting system will only apply to submissions after this journal post.
Hello everyone! Don't be freaked out by the title of this blog. We just want to discuss Vocaloid-fanclub's new Reporting System. It has come to our attention that we have been receiving several rule breaking submissions to our group and we've decided to take preventative measures against it. Please read everything thoroughly because this can affect your group membership.
We first want everyone to see our Group Rules again so that you will be reminded of what to follow:
General Rules:
Respect each other, especially administrators!
Avoid trolling/spamming us with comments.
Please avoid doing anything you're not allowed to do according to deviantART rules.
Deviation Rules:
Please make sure you follow the deviantART Submission Policy that you agreed on upon joining the site.
You must be a member of the group to be able to submit deviations.
All pairings are allowed, but keep it PG-13 as there are some members who are younger here.
The deviation must be yours or you must have gotten permission to use it; stealing is not tolerated. This also includes using someone else's art for the cover of a fanfiction - WE WILL NOT ALLOW THAT.
You may not use someone else's lineart unless it is a collaboration between you and the line art creator. It cannot be a free-for-all lineart.
The deviation has to be primarily Vocaloid-related, cross-overs are allowed but must be submitted to the Other Fanstuff folder.
Submission Limit: 2 deviations per month per folder.
We do not permit any of the following: sketches; works in progress; linearts; screenshots of wallpapers; forum signatures or avatars made with images that you don't own, traced, copied or eyeballed deviations.
Variations/Edits of your own deviations are not allowed.
You may not upload cosplay photos that have very little difference.
Cosplayers must NOT submit "wig tests" or cosplay items.
Cosplayers must also not submit any deviations that do not have a sense of effort put into, as judged by our administrators.
Photography of figurines with no artistic value whatsoever are NOT allowed
Submit memes and Flash games to the "Other fanstuff" folder
All deviations are not guaranteed to be accepted into the group folders. Due to our current numbers in members, admins will be stricter with submissions as we wish only wish to show the best quality of everyone's works.
Please make yourself aware of the folders before you submit your deviation. We're not scary, we just want to give users the best experience possible.
Affiliation Rules:
Obviously, some groups will be better off than others. So please only ask to affiliate once you have approximately 20 members or more
Refrain from requesting affiliation if the group is inactive
Please only ask for affiliation if you consider your group close to Vocaloid.
Please make yourself aware of the folders before you submit your deviation. We're not scary, we just want to give users the best experience possible.
The Reporting System.
Basically, you will have 3 chances of breaking the rules before you are banned. These will be strikes. If you get a strike, you will get a message saying the following:
Please make sure that you think before you submit. We don't want to ban any members because this is a club where you have fun!
Here are the thing you can and cannot be striked for:
Things you can be striked for:
~coloring FFA lineart
~Tracing/copying
~Stealing art
~Editing another artist's work (color overs, etc.)
~Using bases
~Submitting non-Vocaloid work
~Mature content (over PG-13)
~Screenshots of wallpapers/desktops/PVs/etc
~Submitting an already declined deviation
~Sketches*
~WIP (unfinished pictures, lineart, etc.)
~Being rude to administrators or other club members
~Spamming
Thing you don't get striked for:
~Wrong folder submission
~Wig tests
~Low quality photos
*So sketches are a bit on the gray area. We will accept sketches, but only if they are well done sketches, with shading, good composition, neat, and photographed/scanned well. Simple or rough sketches done in a few minutes will not be accepted and will be striked if submitted.
Even though there are things you don't get striked for, please don't submit it anyway. It will make it easier for the admins and will allow you to have more submissions per month.
Another important note: WE WILL NOT REPORT YOU UNLESS WE HAVE PROOF!.
And about submitting into the wrong folder - we get several incorrect folder submissions. When you submit a picture into Vocaloid-fanclub, don't immediately click "Submit". This will submit it automatically into the Leon folder and, chances are, your submission will be declined before you can resubmit it. Please take a few seconds to select the correct folder and you won't have to worry about the submission limits.
Another reminder: MMD pictures belong in the MikuMikuDance folder while cosplay photos belong in the Cosplay folder. They do not belong in the corresponding Vocaloids' folders.
If you have any questions about where a deviation belongs, just leave a comment on our page or send us a note. We will gladly help you.
Okay, so here's the end of our announcement. Overall, we just want you guys to follow our group and DeviantART's rules for submission and to give us your best effort. We don't want to ban any members at all!

New Icon and it's meaning!
Since this fanclub is for every VOCALOID,
The admins agreed to feature more VOCALOID's in the main icon. We decided on the most popular VOCALOID's of each of the main VOCALOID companies to represent the companies, respectively. We also decided to have all the languages represented (English, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese.)
But anyway, here's our new icon! - #Vocaloid-fanclub (https://www.deviantart.com/vocaloid-fanclub)
Here is how we chose.
